Why Samsung 65HU9000 is the best High End 64inch curve LED TV?
Because Samsung 65HU9000 curved 4K LED TV has an excellent picture with deep black levels, accurate color and great bright-room viewing qualities. Its styling is drop-dead gorgeous, and the curve lends a unique, futuristic look. The feature set is well-implemented and comprehensive, with best-in-class connectivity and upgradeability, a superb remote, and just about every conceivable extra.
THE BAD:
Aside from reducing reflections somewhat, the curve provides no benefit to image quality, and in fact introduces subtle distortions. The HU9000 is also more expensive than most 65-inch 4K TVs, including Samsung's own flat versions. The high resolution is very difficult to discern, especially with non-4K content.
The Bottom Line The Samsung HU9000 has straight-up great picture quality, design and features, but the gratuitous curved screen adds very little to the viewing experience and way too much to the price.
